内容概述：We investigate the Darcy-Boussinesq model for convection in layered porous media. The model is intimately related to geologic carbon sequestration. We establish the well-posedness of the model in two and three spatial dimension, and derive the regularity of the solutions in a novel piecewise twice differentiable function space. We also present efficient long-time stable numerical schemes. These schemes have the potential to simulate the long-time sequestration process. Various asymptotic behavior will also be briefly discussed.主讲人简介：王晓明教授本科和硕士毕业于复旦大学，博士毕业于印第安纳大学，曾就职于纽约大学库朗研究所，美国爱荷华州立大学，美国佛罗里达州立大学，普林斯顿高等研究院，复旦大学（特聘教授），南方科技大学（讲席教授，系主任）等。现为美国密苏里科技大学Havener Endowed Chair. 王晓明教授致力于和流体力学和气候变化相关的数学问题的研究。
