讲座题目: Locally Chern homogenous manifolds

内容概述：E. Cartan initiated and largely completed the study of symmetric spaces. In this talk I will discuss a generalization of Cartan's theory on symmetric spaces to Hermitian complex manifolds which are Chern homogeneous. The classification yields that the university cover of such a manifold can be written as the product of  a complex Lie group with Hermitian symmetric spaces.

The effort will be made so that the talk is accessible to broader audiences, including advanced undergraduate students. This is a joint work with F. Zheng.

主讲人简介：倪磊教授是加州大学圣地亚哥分校终身教授，美国数学会会士。1998 获得美国加州大学尔湾分校博士学位，先后在美国普渡大学，斯坦福大学任助理教授，2002 年开始在加州大学圣地亚哥分校任教，2009年被评为教授, 于2016 年-2020 年任该校数学系主任。倪磊教授为微分几何和几何分析国际前沿专家，在几何分析，非线性偏微分方程，复几何及相关领域均有杰出的原创性工作。在JournalofAMS,Invent. Math., Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Journal of European Math Soc., Jour. Math. Pures Appl., American Jour. Math. ，J.Diff. Geom.，Geom. Topol., GAFA 等国际顶尖杂志发表了71篇SCI论文，出版著作5部,Mathscinet citation 2526. 自 1998 年开始长期获得美国国家自然科学基金的支持,包括一项重点项目. 倪磊教授 2004-2006 年度获得美国斯隆奖，被美国数学学会邀请作主要大会报告，是Proceedings of AMS， Int. Jour. Math. 以及 Geometric flows 等国际期刊的编委。
